Legally, accounts become dormant after 12 months of inactivity, but we’d love to reactivate your account! Keep in mind that if your account remains dormant for more than three years, we’re required to transfer those funds to the California State Controller's office. If that happens, you’ll have to file a claim with the State Controller’s Office to get your money back. Simply call us at 866.873.4968 and we'll be glad to help.

Inactive is defined as:

A deposit account with a positive balance that has had no financial transactions (other than posted dividends) or member contact for at least 12 months is considered inactive and is automatically placed into a dormant status.
